Mother’s Day 2010

Today is the day most women wake to the smell of something cooking (or burning) in their own kitchens as their children and perhaps spouse attempt the proverbial breakfast in bed. My day, as a woman with no children, began with the cat standing on my chest meowing for her morning meal and a plethora of voicemail messages waiting on my phone.

The cat first, of course! Must keep the peace and quiet, as my husband slumbers sweetly in the bed, and then off to the phone to listen to call after call of those whom I have coached and mentored in the past wishing me a Happy Mother’s Day and sharing their hearts about our journey into freedom and womanhood from the hurting inner children we all once were.

My heart was moved by each loving message, and the reminder of how much their experiences grew me into this woman I have become and am still becoming!

I am thankful for my spiritual sons and daughters, those who had the courage to pursue their own purpose, to take on the unknown in a battle for freedom or something greater than mere existence!

To each of you a heartfelt thank you and a toast for taking the journey, finding your path and having the courage to rise to the challenge and risk the unknown!

I love you all dearly!

Path4Teens Training in California

Wake me I am dreaming! 5 years ago, if anyone would have told me I would be living to bring Truth, Freedom, Hope and Purpose to the young adults of this country in this season I would have laughed aloud… and yet again, this Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 I will be facilitating a Path4Teens Workshop in Torrance, California, leading young adults into the transformational process of discovering their Mission and Vision for their life and future.

Along with the team of young adults hungry to make a difference in their lives and in their communities, Pastor Milton Herring III will be joining us to be trained as a Licensed Reseller of the Path4Teens curriculum made available as one of the many life changing Path Products Laurie Beth Jones, Inc. has to offer.

Milton will then join me in bringing the beauty and power of transformation to the students of Avalon High School in Wilmington, California as part of ShareFest’s Year Round Youth Development Academy (YDA).
